Winner of the Gail B. Crump Award in Experimental Fiction

We are excited to announce the winner of the 2017 Gail B. Crump Award in Experimental Fiction.

Jenny Drai’s story, “A Brief History of One Bath,” will be published in Pleiades 38.1, in Winter 2018.

Jenny Drai is the author of several collections of poetry, most recently Wine Dark (Black Lawrence Press) and [the door] (Trembling Pillow Press). Another collection, The History Worker, is forthcoming in 2017. Her novella, Letters to Quince, was awarded the Deerbird Novella Prize from Artistically Declined Press and her essays have appeared in Spittoon, Banango Street, and forthcoming in NAILED Magazine. She is an associate poetry editor at Drunken Boat and her book reviews have been published on the DB Medium platform, Rain Taxi, MARY, and The Poetry Question. She occasionally tweets about life in Germany, cats, and what she’s reading @jenny_drai and posts photos from her travels (and her cat) on Instagram @jenny_drai. She currently lives in Bonn, Germany, and has recently completed a novel.
